Pondering on His Love.

Dominican Republic

My life has not turned out the way I planned. 32 having to let go of what I thought was my lifetime call to missions because of health issues, after serving 7 years on field. Now living in Springfield, MO and starting life almost over again.
There have been many moments where I have questioned God and His goodness. Yet I always come back that His word says He is more then enough and that He is good. His Word in which I trust is a constant reminder.
In in this blog about beautiful chaos, reflects the journey the Lord has placed me on. I will ponder about the past, think on the future, hopes, dreams fulfilled, dreams broken and new dreams.
Psalm 145[a]
A psalm of praise. Of David.

1 I will exalt you, my God the King;
I will praise your name for ever and ever.
2 Every day I will praise you
and extol your name for ever and ever.
3 Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise;
his greatness no one can fathom.
4 One generation commends your works to another;
they tell of your mighty acts.
5 They speak of the glorious splendor of your majesty—
and I will meditate on your wonderful works.[b]
6 They tell of the power of your awesome works—
and I will proclaim your great deeds.
7 They celebrate your abundant goodness
and joyfully sing of your righteousness.
8 The Lord is gracious and compassionate,
slow to anger and rich in love.
9 The Lord is good to all;
he has compassion on all he has made.
10 All your works praise you, Lord;
your faithful people extol you.
11 They tell of the glory of your kingdom
and speak of your might,
12 so that all people may know of your mighty acts
and the glorious splendor of your kingdom.
13 Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom,
and your dominion endures through all generations.
The Lord is trustworthy in all he promises
and faithful in all he does.[c]
14 The Lord upholds all who fall
and lifts up all who are bowed down.
15 The eyes of all look to you,
and you give them their food at the proper time.
16 You open your hand
and satisfy the desires of every living thing.
17 The Lord is righteous in all his ways
and faithful in all he does.
18 The Lord is near to all who call on him,
to all who call on him in truth.
19 He fulfills the desires of those who fear him;
he hears their cry and saves them.
20 The Lord watches over all who love him,
but all the wicked he will destroy.
21 My mouth will speak in praise of the Lord.
Let every creature praise his holy name
for ever and ever.

The beginning of an journey

It has been a crazy year, God has been faithful through every step in my tears and  in my laughs. Through the chaos of my life so far God has taught me to rely on Him and trust that He will provide the endurance it takes to make it through.The dream and the call that I felt so long ago for the first time has become my life yet in a way that I would have never guested.  My walking towards what I thought was His plan for me; He has been able to shift my life circumstances to bring me to adventures I never thought I would take.

Though it is not what I had dreamt my life to be I see God’s hand in it. Sometimes in the journey I feel weighted down by the dreams and promises I felt should have been fulfilled but has not happened yet. At times the waiting game confuses me but this is where I lay into the knowledge that I have a Father in heaven I can put my trust in and know He will fulfill promises and that He has amazing things yet.

As 2013 approches new adventures await with my Jesus:) I embark on intineration in California so that I can work in Spain with the issue raising awareness of sex trafficking. I am excited and terrified all at the same time! I know God will move always with me and no matter what I feel He is always near and always my rescuer.
